FFC Ministries

Our Name

Freedom

We believe there are two types of people that need freedom.  First, there is that person who has yet to experience the love of God by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Therefore we are committed to the great commission and commandment of our Lord, Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20).  Then, secondly, there's the person who has made Jesus Christ Lord of their life, but still live with old baggage.  They were never discipled, nor have they learned to embrace the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their life therefore, they are miserable, and lack the joy of the Lord.  Galatians 5:1, the Apostle Paul writes, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."  We are committed to growing and helping others grow in the freedom, which He "made" through His life, death, and resurrection for us all.

Fellowship

Fellowship is a translation of the Greek term koinonia.  Biblical fellowship is when Christians come together to build meaningful biblical relations based on our experience of God himself.   In our CORE small groups, it should be our aim to be transparent, to encourage, exhorting, to rebuke and give instruction in right living (when appropriate and necessary).    It is here that relationships are established.  This fellowship can also be found in a Sunday school class, a women’s and men’s meeting, morning breakfast at the golf course, a bible study in the work place, etc.  Acts 2:42; Philip. 2:1; Phil. 1:6.

Church

Ekklesia- called out ones.  We believe that not only are we a part of the universal body of Christ, but we are called out as a local body of like-minded believers who are committed to do our part in the body of Christ so that the body is built and the lost are evangelized.  Our prayer is that we continue to work towards unity by doing our part on the wall faithfully.  We truly believe we are not in competition, but in partnership with God and His church.  We are part of this beautiful bride of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We believe the church is progressively growing in her identity waiting for the blessed hope of our Lord's return in glory.
