Ty is my great nephew who was born last Monday. Due to lack of oxygen during the pregancy, Ty had many seizures while in the womb. He now suffers from a damaged liver, kidney and lungs. But the worse part is that Ty has severe brain damage on both sides of his brain. The doctors have him on a medication, that has him comotosed, to keep the stress to his body down. As of today, they are not 100% sure of Ty's true condition. The doctors will have to decrease the medication in order to run the tests they need to to determine the severity of the damage. Please pray that the Lord will heal his little body and that he will grow to be a strong, healthy child.

Also, pray for his parents - Gary and Jennifer. After 2 miscarriages, they were finally blessed with Ty. Jennifer went to her doctor the week before having Ty and the doctor sent her home, told her to relax and that he would induce her on Monday. Her blood pressure was up and she didn't feel "right". The doctor was going out of town and didn't want anyone to "deal" with it in his absence. Could this all have been prevented if he would have put her under observation? I pray that they can somehow see the good in Ty and try to get past this. Only God can give them the strength, both individually and as a couple, that they will need to make it through.

Gary and Jennifer both have a religious background and I pray that this will pull them closer to God. It's so very easy to be angry and to blame God for something instead of thanking him and trying to except his will.
